You may yet to have heard that we are trying to get together a football team from the village to play the Woodchester Football Club again this year. Last year we managed to beat them 4-1, and the previous year it was a draw 1-1. Sadly one or two of last years “stars” have moved on, but that leaves an opportunity for us to field new talent. The preferred date for the fixture is Saturday 7th November, probably 2 or 2.30pm.
