About 80 people attended the Tea party to celebrate the Queen’s birthday and St George’s Day. £300 was raised which has been split equally and donated to Help for Heroes and Longfield.
It was a busy but fun afternoon with entertainment by the hand bell ringers and we sang the National anthem. Some of the children decorated crowns.
The organisers would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped make it a success donating cakes, making sandwiches, and helping out at the event and of course thanks to everyone who came and donated so generously.
