Burglaries

Police have been investigating three burglaries that occurred in Dursley, Berkeley and Kings Stanley on the evening of Thursday 14th November. All of the burglaries have occurred by either forcing a rear down stairs window or gaining access through unlocked doors or windows. Residents are asked to be especially vigilant now the evenings are drawing in and to ensure that properties are properly secured. A good deterrent is to have a lamp or light and radio left on, with curtains drawn in that room so that a property appears to be occupied. These burglaries may be linked and as such residents of all areas across the district should remain alert to suspicious behaviour.
